Surrealistic Pillow-time

Last night I had a dream where Rufus Sewell was a real estate agent. He told me about how he sold a house to Neil Young. He also said his favorite Neil Young song was "Reason to Believe."

At that point, I woke up and said out loud, "But 'Reason to Believe' is by Rod Stewart!'

I dreamed I was talking with Queen Elizabeth. She said you know we didn't know when I was little that I would be queen. I said maybe that's why you've been such a good queen. In real life she reminds me of Cathy's mom, whom I miss.

You know, I like the Queen. She seems to be a person who is concerned about her country and her family.

I've had dreams about her at various times, too. One classic was when I was invited to tea at "Bucknam Pelis", but it was one where one thing after another kept preventing me from getting there.

In the past I've had dreams about Prince Charles when I was as familiar with him as with a brother. Do lots of Brits have these dreams?

I don't know. I'm not British, although I've been an Anglophile just about as long as I can remember. I think it started when I read Black Beauty at the age of seven.

I have had more dreams about the royals since I was able to go to the UK. I have something first-hand to base the images on now.
